State Registration of Franchise Offerings

Remember that all information below relates to when you can start OFFERING franchises in these States.   That means that registration must be completed BEFORE you can distribute your UFOC to anyone in these States (or anyone outside these States who plans to operate a franchise in one of these States).  The 50 States break down into 3 basic categories (i) States with no franchise or business opportunity laws, (ii) States which require notice that you will be offering franchises in their State, and (iii) States that require review and approval of your offering documents.
